Farmyard Nursery

Home

The aim of our nursery is to provide day-care provision for children in the local community in the Battle and Bexhill area.

We provide professional childcare within a converted Sussex tithe barn in a rural farmyard setting, benefitting the development of the children.

We have vegetable patches for children to grow vegetables which provide a small amount of food for the nursery.

Currently on the farm we have two pygmy goats, two miniature cows, sheep and chickens which provide fresh eggs for the nursery kitchen.

We believe children benefit from the stimulating environment surrounding the nursery.

Breakfast, lunch and tea is prepared and cooked on site in
the nursery kitchen. Where possible we use fresh, organic
produce and meat will be local and traceable.
